Bad news spread faster than good news?

Tell me if you think that bad news spread faster than good news. I believe this is what happened and usually people get to know the bad news first. How come the good news spread slower than bad news?

Bad news gets more attention and more readers? Does bad news ever affect you?

When I think of bad news I think about bad luck. There was time where I got a bad luck for a row!

  1. Bad news is more entertaining to the people not involved than good news is. It's easier for us to sympathize or think "glad that's not us" than it is to be jealous of the good thing that's happening to somwone else...
